Steampunk Silver Stomper

November 12, 2008 | 3 Comments

Cheap blaster for a while. This is a Silver Stomper blaster. Some details remember the Hero Blaster… but others are simply a riot! It has lights and sounds, like a kid toy! Funny! Made in China. What do you want for $25,00?

The turn for the black version is here. This new Marushin release features the same COP 357 as seen in the Leon scene (and Persefone’s one in Matrix Reloaded), but, instead of silver metal and black grips, this model is black at all. Heavy and with a good grip, feels Ok at hand.

Discovering props

Sergio, alias spinner 44 (not spinner44, a little difference…), was the man. He discovers this little prop in the Leon Voight-Kampff scene. This tiny monitor in fact is not a monitor… is a slide viewer. The PanaVue-1. Not so hard to find, but… not so easy. For now, some snaps to locate the prop, and [...]

No so easy fo find the exact model, but burmese opium (actually not only opium at all) weights are around at ebay, and you may find all kind of figures, not only ducks. This one is one of two duckies I won past week. Is slightly different of the piece that appears in the movie, [...]

At last. Hard job to find it… but finally I’ve located one, in black color, in Italy! Arrived so well… A little crack in the base, but nothing so important. The top arms and middle rings works perfectly. I’ll take better shots later.
This item appears in several rooms: Bryan office, Lion and Zhora ones.

Thanks to SKIN JOB 66 from Propsummit (thank you Fred!) I know the existence of this craftman. Its the maker of some clay pipes and other things, most of them produced as movie props. And… Blade Runner has more clay pipes through the movie as any other, I think. Play this game. Catch ALL the [...]

The third identified prop made by Braun is the AB1 Alarm Clock. Still in production, it’s available in three colors: black, blue and silver. Can be seen in several scenes. Inside the Gaff’s Spinner, on the bottom left of Esper machine (one), and on the top right of Esper machine (two of them). Designed by [...]

Another Braun object in Deckard’s apartment is this rare desktop fan. It could be seen in two places, as pictures show. Fan HL1 originally designed in 1961 by Reinhold Weiss and redesigned in 1971.
