A new lamp to add
December 30, 2008 | 3 Comments
Today, a new lamp arrived to be added. A pink Saturn Fair replica, based in the original moulds (as said by vendor). These lamps are beautiful and very heavy (luckily, they arrived well in both cases). The first one was a blue globe one. You can check it in the movie when piano appears. First [...]

Vid-Phon Report
December 19, 2008 | 2 Comments
From Masakazu Takeda, just today I’ve received this unique Vid-Phon report “book”. In fact, a 20 pages booklet with complete information about Vid-Phon booth prop, with CD included. It depicts the real prop (one of them) used in the movie. The author has been so lucky to meet with the owner and take all kind [...]

Orange Globe Decanter set
December 17, 2008 | 2 Comments
Almost wasted!
This rare orange set is a must in a Blade Runner props collection. But, unfortunately, it arrived broken. Broken figure, broken glasses… A poor packaging is part of this catastrophe, the rest, the excellence of handling personnel, no doubt. Anyway, the globe is complete, and the glasses could be replaced (I have 4 spare [...]

Polystone Ennis House tile replica
December 5, 2008 | 3 Comments
WTF is polystone? I’m not sure, but vendor sais this replica was made in this material. Or resin… I cannot be sure, but it seems more like concrete than resin. A 8″x8″x1″ tile, bright and well formed. Some bubble-holes around, but it’s a very nice piece overall.

Deckard shirt from Magnoli
November 28, 2008 | 1 Comment
From Magnoli Clothiers, one of the Decakrd’s shirts. Perhaps not 100% accurate, but a good piece. I don’t know if I will wear it ever. I need some more clothes before…

Steampunk Silver Stomper
November 12, 2008 | 3 Comments
Cheap blaster for a while. This is a Silver Stomper blaster. Some details remember the Hero Blaster… but others are simply a riot! It has lights and sounds, like a kid toy! Funny! Made in China. What do you want for $25,00?

Marushin COP 357 Black edition
November 11, 2008 | 2 Comments
The turn for the black version is here. This new Marushin release features the same COP 357 as seen in the Leon scene (and Persefone’s one in Matrix Reloaded), but, instead of silver metal and black grips, this model is black at all. Heavy and with a good grip, feels Ok at hand.

Discovering props
October 16, 2008 | 6 Comments
Sergio, alias spinner 44 (not spinner44, a little difference…), was the man. He discovers this little prop in the Leon Voight-Kampff scene. This tiny monitor in fact is not a monitor… is a slide viewer. The PanaVue-1. Not so hard to find, but… not so easy. For now, some snaps to locate the prop, and [...]

Gaff helmet
October 7, 2008 | 8 Comments
From Australia, offworld66 send me a real nice work about Gaff helmet. A pair of WWII items, several custom made pieces, and a lot of patience and good job results in a very realistic Gaff helmet, as you can see here. Thank you Tim! You’ve done a prop master job, sir!
